From compelled evictions of 1000’s of Maasai in Tanzania; to beatings, killings and sexual violence towards the Baka within the Congo Basin; to the burning of Indigenous Karen villages in Thailand, our Indigenous allies proceed to talk out towards a mannequin of conservation that violates their rights and fails to guard nature.
The London Zoological Society helps this racist and colonial conservation mannequin and works with governments and rangers in Nepal and Cameroon, the place Indigenous peoples face human rights violations and have been evicted and excluded from their houses.
Be a part of our vigil in London at 2pm on 1 March close to the London Zoo.
